Minimum-wage increase, tax cuts on hold
(Inc.com) - House Democrats on Wednesday were unable to override President Bush’s veto of the Iraq war spending bill, which also contained an increase in the federal minimum wage and $4.8 billion in tax cuts for small businesses.
